Java - String startsWith() Method

Description:

This method has two variants and tests if a string starts with the specified prefix beginning a specified index or by default at the beginning.

Syntax:

Here is the syntax of this method:

public boolean startsWith(String prefix, int toffset)

or

public boolean startsWith(String prefix)

      System.out.println(Str.startsWith("Welcome") );

      System.out.print("Return Value :" );
      System.out.println(Str.startsWith("Dineshon", 11) );
   }
}

This produces following result:

output:
Return Value :true
Return Value :false
Return Value :true
